About EMFloodResilience

The core of the EMFloodResilience project is to become better prepared for the next extreme flood event and thereby prevent future loss of life and socio-economic damage. We need to know how rivers and streams react to heavy precipitation, what parameters control or influence this and what it means for specific geographical areas. The project helps develop or improve products that the authorities and water managers in the Euregion have a great and urgent need for, in order to limit the impact in the future, as in 2021.

The EMfloodResilience project is being carried out within the context of Interreg V-A Euregio MeuseRhine and is 90% funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
